Summer can be the best time to get through some of those odd jobs that we put off. To make sure your home is living its best life. When you have a spare 30mins or an afternoon here are some jobs that can be done around the home.
Spare 30 minutes:
- Clean your rubbish bins, combine our beautiful Queensland sun and lots of left overs and our bins could become a bit stinky. So next time it is emptied:
- Remove any old rubbish
- Hose out the bin, if it is really bad you could use a ecofriendly dishwashing soap & scrub with a long-handled brush
- Leave it to dry out.
- Clean the BBQ, our summers are ideal BBQ time, and it is sure to get a workout. Most times we are only able to give it a quick clean. Take the time to clean and oil it for next time.
Got a spare afternoon:
- Wash the windows – you can use a mix of water and vinegar for an eco-friendly cleaning solution. Easy to avoid streaks by drying with a squeegee or microfiber cloth. Also remember to clean your window tracks & screens.
- Driveway Cleaning –
- Garden maintenance – a beautiful garden makes the yard a great place to visit. Take the time to weed, prune or mulch to keep it looking its best.
